The Lodge at Snowbird

The Lodge at Snowbird was excellent and, as a result, we had a great stay! The entire staff was very helpful and accommodating. We are a family of four with two teen boys and we had the "one bedroom condo," which is a bedroom unit combined with a studio unit and had a mountain view, balcony, 2 queen-size beds in the bedroom, 1 sofa sleeper, 2 full baths and a fully furnished kitchen. The room was perfect - clean, spacious, fully equipped, and beautiful view. We ordered groceries and cooked our meals, which was perfect for us. The hot tub and pool at the Lodge at Snowbird was very nice and enjoyable. I also used the sauna there. We had ski lockers in the Lodge but we usually used the ski-check at the Snowbird Center, which was just a short walk away. I also used the hot tub and sauna and the Cliff Lodge when I took a yoga class there. The hot tub, sauna and pool at the Cliff Lodge was no different than the one at the Lodge at Snowbird, with the exception that I think children are not permitted in the pool or hot tub at the Cliff Lodge (not entirely sure about that but I think that was the case). I would highly recommend the Lodge at Snowbird and will hopefully return. It was perfect for family ski vacation!

Stayed here last year and already have time booked for September 2024. It is just a very different feeling and the mountain air is so refreshing and not a better place to relax and enjoy all that utah and snowbird have to offer even during the off snow months. Would definitely recommend staying here and spending a weekend or two or three.

It is a very affordable and cozy lodge with an unlimited hot chocolate and coffee bar on the fourth floor. I would highly recommend. one thing to know is that even numbered rooms have a bedroom but not a kitchen and uneven rooms have a pullout couch and a full kitchen. It is a quick 2 minute walk to snowbird center. For reference the cliff house is the nicest and most expensive place to stay at snowbird and the inn is the cheapest. The lodge sits in between these two in terms of price and amenities.

Our room was spacious and nice, and the bathroom area quite nice as well. Spectacular mountain views from the balcony. We are literally in the middle of a mountain forest with trees less than 10 ft away and taller than our 3rd story balcony. I am transported to a sun-drenched mountain paradise now as I write this. Minus 1 star for the following reasons: At 6:15 this morning the garbage truck came and manhandled the dumpster. It sounded like Armageddon. It sounded like a truck falling off the empire state building and CRASHING to the ground. I am a light sleeper but I'm sure that even heavy sleepers were JOLTED awake at 6:15. It is impossible for me to believe that they couldn't schedule the dumpster pickup for later in the day, even if it costs them extra to do so. The room was full of moths and other flying insects. The toilet flush is shockingly loud and startling. LOUD heavy equipment sounds coming from the hotel parking lot all morning. Summary: 4 stars for an overall great experience, marred just a bit by the things mentioned above.

We had such a nice time. Great people, perfect location, hot tub, pool, facilities super fun. Perfect for a family, fireplace etc. Would have been awesome if there was a washer and dryer in the unit but there was one in the building. Showers were nice and hot but took some time to warm up. Really could do with an updating however to get the fifth star. Tired furniture and carpet etc.

Unbelievable views! We come up here every year for my mom's birthday. Hanging out on the balcony with binoculars, looking for critters in the mountains is our favorite activity. It's a great mid-summer escape from the heat in SLC. Up here, it's 70° and breezy, going down to 53° tonight!

We loved staying here in a one bedroom with full kitchen and gorgeous views out of a wall of windows - updated decor feels clean, along with a spacious layout and friendly professional staff. Shoutout to the cleaning guy whose name i cant remember but he did a great job, along with Aaron the bellman and shuttle driver (Alta is 6 min away!), Alyssa at the front desk and one cant talk about Snowbird without mentioning Shirley - each are so friendly and helpful. The Lodge is across the street from Snowbird Center where there’s the tram and lift access directly to the mtn, along with a complimentary ski check for Lodge guests, ski rentals, tram club for apres fun and a small supermarket. I didnt use the Lodge’s heated outdoor pool or other facilities but the kitchen had all the things we needed only thing that could be improved would be for laundry in the room. We liked it here more than Cliff lodge and will surely return every time we ski Snowbird and Alta!

Incredible staff, there wasn’t a single thing that could’ve gone better. Some of the best staff I have ever interacted with, I would give it a 10 out of 5 if I could.
